Got a job interview?

How do you go about a job interview? Here are some tips for you unemployed folk out there:
  •  Prepare: Have answers to general questions ready so you can sound intelligent. Use the interviewers name during the interview when addressing them. Bring a portfolio including copies of your resume and a pen+paper for note taking.
  • Watch these videos to understand how to leave the right impression.
  • Be on time: This is important to interviewers. Leave in time to arrive around 15 minutes early in case of traffic. By "on time" i mean 5 minutes early; you should be waiting on them, not the other way around.
  • Stay calm: During the interview stay as relaxed as possible, and pay attention. Try to remember whatever they are saying. Make eye contact when speaking with the interviewer and when being spoken to. Listen to the entire question before giving an answer, and make it a good one.
  • Show them you'd be good for the job: Try to relate what you know about the company when answering questions.  When discussing your career accomplishments, match them to what the company is looking for. Also, point out your strong points so they know what your good at (although you should have them in your resume anyway).
  • Follow up: Following the interview, send the interviewer a thank you note reiterating your interest in the position. Do this for each one of your interviewers, and give them a call to ask about the availability of the job within a week.

Is It Actually Possible To Do "noting"?

In my research and thought process, I personally believe you are always doing something. Weather it be sitting, breathing, looking, or reading. However if you find yourself doing nothing, and I mean nothing....I want to hear about it. if you can stop all bodily function you deserve to be recognized. If your opinion differs from mine, your stupid but i want to hear what you have to say. Maybe you died one time, then stopped being dead.. isn't that an awesome thought?
